Job summary

Victim Support in Wakefield is seeking a dedicated Team Leader to oversee the CYP and VAWG teams across West Yorkshire. The role is full time (37.5 hrs) with hybrid work from the Wakefield office and occasional travel across the region to represent the service.

You will lead a team of caseworkers, manage case reviews, allocations and reporting, ensuring trauma-informed practice and high-quality support for victims of crime.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team of staff.
• Understanding of safeguarding and data protection requirements.
• Ability to analyse information to inform quality and compliant services.
• Strong knowledge of the criminal justice system and victims' needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage CYP and VAWG caseload teams.
• Carry out case reviews and manage caseloads.
• Oversee case allocation and discussions.
• Monitor use of the case management system and reporting.
