5ab Care is seeking a dedicated Senior Residential Care Worker/Team Leader for our children’s residential care team in Luton. You will lead a team, work closely with the Registered Manager, and ensure high standards of care and safeguarding for children and young people.

The role requires leadership experience, a relevant NVQ Level 3+, and flexibility to cover shifts including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. A full driving license is required.

Qualifications

• Leadership and management experience in a care setting.
• Willingness to work shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Valid driving license is required for this role.

Responsabilités

• Provide day-to-day leadership and support to a team of Residential Care Workers.
• Ensure the physical, emotional, and social needs of children and young people are met.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, young people and their families.
• Safeguard and promote individual rights and provide care free from oppression.
• Mentor Residential Support Workers and guide team members as required.
• Assist the Registered Manager with care plan implementation and risk assessments.
• Keep accurate and up-to-date records and documentation.
