Job summary

Silver Birch Care Holdings is seeking a Team Leader for a children’s residential home in the UK. You will oversee daily operations, lead shifts and support the management team to ensure high standards of care for young people.

The role requires a Level 3 Diploma in Children & Young People’s Residential Care, at least 1 year in residential childcare, and strong safeguarding knowledge. A positive, resilient attitude and driving licence are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in residential childcare.
• Experience working within an Ofsted-regulated children’s home.
• Level 3 Diploma in Children & Young People’s Residential Care is required.
• Strong safeguarding and child-centred practice knowledge.
• Positive, resilient and committed approach.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.

• Provide a safe, child-centred environment and lead shifts across care staff.
• Support care planning, record-keeping and reporting.
