Swanton Care is seeking a proactive Team Leader to support the Service Manager and oversee day-to-day shifts at a supported living service in Maidstone.

You will lead a team, drive recruitment and development, and ensure person-centred care plans are followed. The role emphasises maintaining high-quality records and empowering staff to deliver compassionate care.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in care, supporting people with learning disabilities / behaviours that challenge.
• Ability to lead a team/shift.
• Ideally working towards or holding NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care.

Aufgaben

• Provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower their team in supporting the people they support to achieve their goals and aspirations.
• Lead recruitment, induction, supervisions, annual appraisals, training, coaching, rota management, sickness and absence management.
• Take the lead to help Support Workers understand their responsibilities and ensure that safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led support and care is delivered at all times.
• Ensure that all the people we support have person-centred support/care plans and you can create and update these plans as required.
• Oversee and support the development of excellent quality within the service, and maintain excellent service user records.

About You

Do you have previous experience working in care, leading a team and want to further your development within a Care Team Leader role?

This is an opportunity for a pro-active Team Leader to join an evolving Care Company. You will need:

• Previous experience of working within a care role, supporting people with learning disabilities / behaviours that challenge
• Be able to demonstrate your ability to lead a team/shift
• Ideally, you will be working towards or hold a NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care

The Role

• Provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower their team in supporting the people they support to achieve their goals and aspirations.

• To oversee and support the development of excellent quality within the service. You will design, develop and maintain excellent service user records. Working in a supportive manner that empowers the service user to live their life in their chosen manner.
