Swanton Care & Community Ltd is seeking a Team Leader to support the Service Manager by leading day-to-day management of a shift in our supported living service. The role focuses on empowering the team to deliver person-centred care and to support people in achieving their goals.

You will lead recruitment, induction, supervision, training, and rota management, ensuring safety, quality, and compassionate care at all times.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of working within a care role, supporting people with learning disabilities / behaviours that challenge
• Be able to demonstrate your ability to lead a team/shift
• Ideally, you will be working towards or hold a NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care

Responsabilités

• You will be proactive and support the development and skills of Support Workers. This will include recruitment, induction, supervisions, annual appraisals, training, coaching, rota management, sickness and absence management
• Take the lead to help Support Workers understand their responsibilities and by doing so ensure that safe, effective, caring, responsive and well lead support and care is delivered at all times
• Ensure that all the people we support have person centred support/care plans.
• To oversee and support the development of excellent quality within the service. You will design, develop and maintain excellent service user records.

About You

Do you have previous experience working in care, leading a team and want to further your development within a Care Team Leader role?

This is an opportunity for a pro-active Team Leader to join an evolving Care Company. You will need:

• Previous experience of working within a care role, supporting people with learning disabilities / behaviours that challenge
• Be able to demonstrate your ability to lead a team/shift
• Ideally, you will be working towards or hold a NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care

The Role
