Job summary

Gap Personnel is recruiting an experienced Warehouse Team Leader in Warrington for a permanent role. You will lead the picking and packing team, supervise hourly staff, and ensure inventory accuracy using handheld scanners.

You will coordinate with transport to meet loading plans on multi-temperature lines, monitor KPIs, and manage shift handovers. A hands-on leader with flexible availability is required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a team leader in a warehouse environment.
• Experience in picking/packing workflows.
• Ability to operate handheld scanners and manage multi-temperature lines.

Responsibilities

• Direct and support the warehouse team to meet picking/packing targets.
• Ensure accurate scanning and correct packing into trays.
• Assist with loading/unloading and pallet wrapping as required.
• Monitor and drive KPI performance and shift handovers with transport.
• Liaise with shift managers to coordinate loading plans.

Shifts

12pm-10pm (Any 4 shifts out of 7)

Nights

10pm-6am

Duties

• Picking and packing produce
• Handheld scanning items to put in trays
• Dual role, manual handling
• Decanting, putting frozen produce into trays and onto the lines
• Wrapping pallets
• Keeping area tidy, brushing up
• Ensuring all products are picked and packed to highest standard
• Loading/unloading deliveries
• Keeping track of KPIs
• Liaising with warehouse shift managers and transport

Pay rates

£33k per annum
