Job summary

JDR Recruitment are recruiting for a Warehouse Team Leader for a company based in Allerton. Duties include learning and overseeing the internal Pick & Pack operation, rectifying operational errors, monitoring pick rates and supervising up to 20 warehouse operatives.

Shift Pattern is Tuesday to Saturday: 2:00pm–10:00pm Tue-Fri and 8:00am–4:00pm Saturday. This is a temporary to permanent position with pay of £14.52 per hour during the 3‑month probation, rising to £15.97 per hour with an attendance

Qualifications

• Knowledge of a pick/pack warehouse environment.
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Computer literate.
• Previous experience leading or supervising a small team.

Duties:

• Supervising and supporting up to 20 warehouse operatives at one time

Experience Required:

• Knowledge of a pick/pack warehouse environment
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

Shift Pattern:

Tuesday to Saturday

• Tuesday to Friday: 2:00pm - 10:00pm
• Saturday: 8:00am - 4:00pm

Pay Rate:

This is a temporary to permanent opportunity.

Upon successful completion of the temporary period and permanent transfer:

• £14.52 per hour during the first 3-month probation period
• Once probation has been successfully completed, there is an attendance incentive which increases the rate to £15.97 per hour

This equates to approximately:

• £28,314 per annum during probation
• £31,141 per annum after passing probation and qualifying for the attendance incentive
