Job summary

Voyage Care is seeking a Team Leader in Rochester to help people gain independence and support day‑to‑day management of the residential service. You will supervise staff, allocate shifts, induct new colleagues and contribute to care planning.

You will have a Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification and experience with individuals with autism or complex needs, with DBS checks and references required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar Team Leader role.
• Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification.
• Experience working with individuals with autism, brain injury, complex mental health needs or challenging behaviours.
• DBS checks and references will be required.

Responsibilities

• Allocate shifts and supervise staff on site.
• Book and deliver training; induct new colleagues.
• Conduct supervision and appraisals.
• Develop and update care plans; order medications as needed.
• Assist with day‑to‑day management of the service in the absence of the manager.
• Help people to gain more independence and manage finances.

Team Leader - town - £14.59 Per Hour

Typical Shifts are: 40 hours per week, 3 long days per week for 2 weeks & 2 weeks 2 long days and 1 short shift.

We’re currently searching for a fantastic Team Leader to join us in leading our residential service in Rochester. This service is a welcoming and friendly environment with a dynamic team that supports a fantastic group of people!

As a Team Leader with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst assisting the Manager with the day-to-day supervision and management of the service. You could be allocating shifts, booking in training, inducting new colleagues, conducting supervision’s and appraisals, developing and updating care plans, ordering medication, ensuring the people we support are supported to manage their finances and day-to-day management of the service in the absence of the manager. You’ll never lose sight of why you choose to do this, as our Team Leaders are still at the heart of providing day-to-day support.

We’re interested in our Team Leader having both the right experience and the right values.
