Job summary

Essential Care and Support Limited – Murton is seeking a Team Leader to manage frontline operations and back‑office tasks within compliance. The role focuses on person‑centred care across supported living and services, with a £500 joining bonus and a 40‑hour week at £13.14 per hour.

You will lead staff to promote wellbeing, safety and quality of life, while ensuring adherence to company values and standards. A proactive leader with driving capacity is essential.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities.
  • Minimum Level 3 NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care, or working towards it.
  • Able to motivate and manage a team.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for staff management and staff development.
  • Lead staff in promoting each client's well‑being, safety and quality of life.
  • Monitor and support the delivery of group and individual activities within homes that address agreed client goals and progress against wellbeing measures.
  • Coordinate effective liaison with external parties within your responsibility to ensure consistent communication within the home.
  • Work in accordance with company values, policies, procedures, legislation and national minimum standards.
  • Meet agreed individual annual objectives.
  • Complete and review internal quality compliance systems.
  • Participate in on‑call duties.

We are looking for a Team Leader to join our team at Essential Care and Support Limited – Murton. Essential Care and Support is part of the National Care Group and provides person‑centred care across supported living, outreach and day services to individuals with mental health, dementia, physical disabilities, forensic and elderly care needs. This role allows you to make a difference every day.

The Team Leader Role

As a Team Leader you will promote and ensure that the company vision of person‑centred support is implemented while maintaining an individual's potential and independence. You will be the front‑line manager and also complete necessary back‑office duties within compliance.

  • Full UK driving licence.

Qualities needed include treating others with respect, listening to their needs and understanding their emotions. Be kind, friendly and honest.
