Job summary

Voyage-Care in Farnham is seeking a Team Leader to support our nursing service. The role involves leading a dynamic team, supervising daily activities, and ensuring high-quality care for the people we support.

You will assist the Manager with day-to-day supervision, allocate shifts, induct new staff, and develop care plans. The role emphasises person-centred care and collaboration with the wider team to achieve independence for clients.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role and Level 3 Health & Social Care.
• Experience working with individuals with autism, brain injury, complex mental health needs, traumatic backgrounds and challenging behaviours.
• Ability to allocate shifts, induct new colleagues and conduct supervision and appraisals.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Manager with day-to-day supervision and management of the service.
• Allocate shifts, book training and induct new colleagues.
• Develop and update care plans and manage medication orders.
• Ensure people we support are empowered to manage finances and daily tasks in the absence of the manager.

Job description

Team Leader - Farnham - £15.65 up to £17.15 with overtime and evening/weekend enhancements (Ts & Cs apply)

Typical Shifts are: 7am -7pm & 9am -9pm - including alternate weekends as dual Senior.

We're currently searching for a fantastic Team Leader to join us in leading our nursing service in Farnham. This service is a welcoming and friendly environment with a dynamic team that supports a fantastic group of people!

As a Team Leader with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst assisting the Manager with the day-to-day supervision and management of the service. You could be allocating shifts, booking in training, inducting new colleagues, conducting supervision's and appraisals, developing and updating care plans, ordering medication, ensuring the people we support are supported to manage their finances and day-to-day management of the service in the absence of the manager. You'll never lose sight of why you choose to do this, as our Team Leaders are still at the heart of providing day-to-day support.
