Job summary

CareTech Community Services Ltd in Bradford is recruiting a Team Leader to support adults with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs at Edgerton Grove. This role offers a permanent, full-time position with a 37.5 hour rota and opportunities for professional growth.

You will deliver person-centred support, supervise a team, and ensure high-quality care while promoting independence and wellbeing. Full training and DBS checks are provided.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years Experience in a Supported Living or Residential Care Environment
• At least a year in a Senior or Team leader position within care
• Ability to work unsociable hours on a rota basis
• Enhanced DBS required (paid for by CareTech)

About the Service – Edgerton Grove

Edgerton Grove is a registered residential care service supporting adults aged 18+ in a safe, structured, and supportive environment. The service promotes independence, choice, and wellbeing through tailored, person-centred support.

Service User Interests

The people we support enjoy a wide range of activities, and Support Workers play a vital role in enabling these experiences, including:

Arts and crafts
Days out such as Theme Parks, Meals out, Social activities, Christmas markets etc.
Holidays and short breaks
Walks in the local park and community
Cooking and baking to develop life skills

The Role

You will:

Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking people who are caring, patient, and respectful, with a positive and resilient approach. You should be confident working independently and within a team, have good communication skills, basic IT and written abilities, and be flexible and reliable.

No previous experience? No problem! If you have the passion, we’ll provide full training and a structured induction programme.
