Here at GXO, we are recruiting a Warehouse Team Leader to join our team in Crewe, supporting our partners on site, TJX (TKMaxx and Homesense).

GXO is seeking a talented and passionate individual for the position of Warehouse Team Leader to oversee the efficient running of warehouse functions, prioritizing health & safety, colleague engagement, wellbeing, and development, while meeting operational KPIs & targets.

This is a full-time, permanent position working any 5 from 7 days, on a 14:00 - 22:00 shift pattern, with some flexibility required.

What You'll Do On a Typical Day

• Report to the Shift Manager, plan, manage, and adjust staffing levels to meet operational needs and customer priorities.
• Communicate daily tasks, procedural changes, H&S updates, and audit information to the team.
• Complete accurate shift handovers with incoming/outgoing Team Leaders and Shift Manager.
• Set targets, monitor performance, provide training and feedback, and address poor performance.
• Oversee unloading inbound freight and organizing outgoing pallet picks.
• Handle HR tasks such as Return to Work, Incident Reporting, and Absence Management via T&A.

What You Need To Succeed At GXO

• Experience leading a team in a fast-paced FMCG warehouse environment, from goods in to dispatch.
• Experience working towards targets and managing a small team.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems.
• Good knowledge of current health & safety and compliance legislation.
