Job summary

Lifeways Group in Prudhoe is seeking a dedicated Team Leader to co-ordinate a supported living service, ensuring high standards of care and regulatory compliance. You will supervise a team of Support Workers and support individuals to lead more independent lives.

Working closely with the Service Manager, you’ll manage rotas, support on‑call duties, promote safeguarding and staff development in a supportive, values-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Essential: NVQ/SVQ Level 3 or QCF Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
• Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within social care
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day running of the service to ensure high standards of care and regulatory compliance
• Supervise and support a team of Support Workers

Your Role

As Team Leader, you’ll work closely with the Service Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with regulatory requirements. You’ll supervise and support a dedicated team of Support Workers, helping them deliver person-centred care that promotes independence and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and supervise the delivery of person-centred services
• Assist with rota planning and timesheet accuracy
• Promote health and safety for both service users and staff
• Ensure safeguarding and wellbeing of all individuals supported
• Continuously develop your own practice and contribute to service improvement
• Provide supervision and guidance to Support Workers

About You

• Flexible approach and willingness to participate in a 24-hour on‑call rota
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
