Job summary

Radis Community Care is seeking a Team Leader to support a female resident with complex needs in her own home, including personal care, medication, and social activities. You will work with managers to oversee services, schedule staff, and ensure high-quality outcomes.

You will visit the registered office in Coventry weekly and coordinate care across services. Candidates should have experience with learning disabilities, autism, or mental health, and hold an NVQ2 health and social care (level 3

Qualifications

• Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, or mental health needs.
• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (working towards Level 3).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; willingness to learn and adapt.

Responsibilities

• Oversee smooth operation of Supported Living services with Managers.
• Conduct regular audits, checks, supervisions, and spot checks; update support plans.
• Schedule and allocate work to Support Workers; assist with medication and personal care.
• Cover shifts within services as needed and ensure residents’ outcomes are met.

Job description

As a Team Leader you will be supporting a female resident with complex needs in her own home. The role may include manual handling, medication administration, personal care, food preparation, household tasks, supporting her to keep in contact with family and friends, accessing the community and attending appointments. We provide support for daily living skills and help support with socialisation. providing specialised person centred support.

Radis recognise each person as an individual and provide a unique service which is tailored to their specific needs and provide a consistent approach throughout their life.

You will be supporting a lady within her own home, with various shift times. You will also need to attend the registered office once a week in Coventry.

• The people we support, may on occasion, display behaviours that are challenging and some of these could be physical in nature.
• To work alongside the Managers of our Supported Living Services- overseeing the smooth running of these services, completing regular audits, checks, supervisions, spot checks, updating and reviewing support plans and working to ensure that individuals achieve their outcomes.
• The role will require you to schedule / allocate work to the Support Workers, support with medication, personal care tasks and covering shifts within the services.

Previous experience working with individuals with Learning Disabilities, autism and mental health issues

• Previous experience as a Team Leader/ Senior Support worker will be advantageous . The successful candidate will have an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care working towards Level 3. You will have good written and verbal communication skills and have a willingness to learn in line with clients needs and expectations.
• Driving Licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
