Job DescriptionAs aTeam Leader, you’ll be at the heart of this mission—managing a small, passionate team of mentors and leading the delivery of high-quality, impactful support.
In this leadership role you will play a fundamental part in providing operational insights, performance management, stakeholder engagement, and staff's personal development. This is an opportunity that allows for the post-holder to meet important contractual requirements and support Catch22's mission in being innovative, inclusive, and evidence based in its practice.
You’ll liaise with probation services, prisons, housing and community partners, and create a culture of accountability, learning, and empowerment—ensuring your team is equipped to support service users at a crucial point in their lives.
QualificationsWe’re looking for a proactive and professional leader, ready to make a difference.
Essential:
GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English
Management and leadership experience
Knowledge of criminal justice, risk management, and resettlement pathways
Strong communication, organisational, and partnership skills
Experience using Microsoft Office
Desirable:
Qualifications in Criminology, Social Care, or related fields
Experience working with offenders or disadvantaged groups
Familiarity with Justice IT systems (e.g., OASys, Delius)

Contract: Fixed term contract for 12 month period.
Hours & work pattern: Full time, 38 hours per week.
Salary: £39,175.50
Location: Based at Newham Probation - Y2A Hub (with some travel across London as required, and occasionally home working – but not guaranteed)
