Job summary

Asda is seeking a Team Leader in Thurmaston to oversee daily department operations, support colleagues, and ensure excellent customer service. You will help manage stock, guide new starters, and step in to resolve issues on the shop floor, while working with your manager to maintain high standards and motivate your team.

This full-time permanent role offers a 36-hour week with a shift pattern of days, and a competitive benefits package.

As a Team Leader, you’ll play a key role in leading the day-to-day running of your department. You’ll lead by example—supporting your colleagues, keeping things running smoothly, and making sure our customers receive the best possible service. Whether it’s helping to manage stock, supporting new starters, or stepping in to solve a problem, you’ll be a go-to person on the shop floor. You’ll work closely with your manager to deliver high standards and keep your team motivated and focused.
