Job summary

Portman Recruitment is seeking a Team Leader for our client's Children’s Homes. You will be part of a supportive care team, helping young people navigate daily life and build lasting memories in a SEMH setting.

You'll lead staff, deputise for Registered/Deputy Managers when needed, and build trusting relationships with young people. A Level 3 Diploma in Children's Residential Care (or equivalent) and a full UK driving licence are required.

• Full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months.
• Level 3 Diploma in Children’s Residential Care (or equivalent) required.

Salary: £39,680 - £46,944 per annum (assuming good attendance and up to 3 sleep-ins per month)

You'll play a key role in supporting young people on a day-to-day basis, ensuring the home runs smoothly while helping to create positive experiences and lasting memories.

As a Team Leader, you'll also support and guide the staff team, ensuring the home continues to operate to the highest standards. You'll be prepared to deputise for the Registered and Deputy Managers when required.

We're looking for someone who can build strong, trusting relationships with young people. Compassionate, emotionally resilient and supportive, you'll also have the leadership skills to motivate and inspire your colleagues.
