Job summary

Witherslack Group is recruiting a Team Leader to work in our children's homes, supporting young people daily and ensuring smooth home operations. You’ll help staff keep high standards and be ready to deputise for Registered/Deputy Managers when required.

Qualifications

• A 'can do' attitude and teamwork.
• Full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months.
• Level 3 Children's Residential Care qualification is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the staff team to support young people daily and ensure smooth operation of the home.
• Ensure the home runs to high standards and safeguarding protocols are followed.
• Be prepared to deputise for the Registered and Deputy Managers when needed.
• Promote wellbeing and provide a nurturing, inclusive environment for residents.

£43,180 - £50,444 assuming good attendance and up to 3 sleep ins per month

You’ll be a part of taking care of our young people day to day, making sure things run smoothly and creating lasting memories. As a team leader you will also make sure that the staff team are supported and the home is operating at our high standards, prepared to step up to deputise for the Registered and Deputy Managers.

• Salary: Base salary of £35,400 - £42,664
• Bonuses: In addition to your base salary you'll do up to 3 sleep ins per months, these are paid at £80 per sleep (approx. £2,880 per year) and Attendance allowance up to £1,400 per year, £2,000 Regional Allowance, £1,500 Responsibility Allowance, £1,000 Welcome Bonus - on successful completion of probation & £1,000 Loyalty Bonus
