Accordia Care Group in Epsom is seeking a Care Lead/Team Leader to supervise support workers providing person-centred care in clients' homes. You will drive team performance, mentor staff, and ensure quality care while maintaining compliance with CQC standards.

The role requires strong leadership, resilience and flexibility in shifts; a Level 5 Diploma in Health & Social Care is preferred, and a full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as a team leader in the care sector.
• Experience with mental health, autism, challenging behaviours and learning disabilities.
• Ability and experience in supervising, developing staff including monthly supervisions and annual appraisals.
• Leading by example on the floor and responding to incidents.
• Computer literate
• Knowledge of current CQC regulations and legislation
• Flexible with shifts to meet the needs of the service
• Strong values and person-centred approach
• Willing to complete Level 5 Diploma in Health & Social Care
• Full UK driving licence is essential

Job Title: Care Lead/Team Leader

Supported Living Service in Epsom, 68 Reigate Road KT17 3DT

Rate of pay: £14.21 per hour

Weekly hours: 48 hours per week (12 hours shift per day)

Ideal position for individual looking for career in management within the Health and Social Care sector.

As Team Leader, you will become part of our team managing support workers to support people living in their own homes in Epsom, Surrey. You will have access to great career progressions, sector-leading professional training, and great job stability.

We specialise in providing person person-centred care for adults with forensic mental health background, challenging behaviour, learning disabilities and autism to enable them to play a meaningful part within their community. We are looking for motivated individuals who are able to deal with high-stress situations and want a rewarding role as part of a service that makes a difference.

Our flagship supported living service on Reigate Road is an 8-minute walk from Ewell, East train station and has on-site parking.

• You will need to have experience working as a team leader in the care sector
• Experienced working with people with Mental health, Autism, challenging behaviours and learning disabilities.
• Ability and experience in supporting, motivating and developing staff, including undertaking monthly supervisions, annual appraisals, leading team meetings and doing inductions.
• Leading by example on the floor and responding to incidents
• Being computer literate
• Knowledge and a good understanding of current CQC/sector regulations and legislation
• Must be flexible with shifts to meet the needs of the service
• Strong values and person-centred approach
