As a Team Leader, you will work as a Retail Assistant and receive a £2 per hour supplement for managing shifts.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering great availability for your customers.
  • Actively participating in your store to promote sales.
  • Completing all actions set by your line manager.
  • Supporting and collaborating with the Talking Shop Rep.
  • Fostering an inclusive culture.
  • Sharing knowledge for team up-skilling.

Doing the right processes and doing them right:

  • Completing actions from daily floor walks focusing on customer experience.
  • Providing excellent service both in store and at the doorstep.
  • Following cash handling and security policies.
  • Implementing all “One Best Way” digital processes.

Leadership:

Your leadership should focus on:

  • Being approachable and caring for customers.
  • Respecting colleagues.
  • Working enthusiastically as a team.
  • Taking action to reduce waste.
  • Being considerate of the business and colleagues.

Required skills & experience:

  • Retail management or supervisory experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Effective communication with colleagues.
  • Shift planning and organization.
  • Providing constructive feedback.
  • Leading by example to deliver excellent store performance.
