Are you self-motivated, with the initiative and drive to lead a team?

Here at SUEZ we’re looking for a Team Leader to join our team in our HWRC and help operate the site while leading a small team of site operatives.

Location: Five Lanes Transfer Station and Recycling Centre

Salary: £12.84 per hour

Working pattern: Friday - Tuesday

What you’ll do:

Key responsibilities will include:

• You will assist the Site Supervisor with managing the day to day running of the site.
• Leading a team of Site Operatives.
• Completing any other reasonable duties when applicable.
• To assist members of the public in a polite and courteous manner.
• To promote a new culture of recycling and diversion of waste to landfill.

What you’ll need to apply:

• Supervisory experience / skills and be able to lead a small team.
• A flexible approach to work, as you may be expected to cover varied tasks.
• IOSH Managing Safely Qualification (training will be provided otherwise)
• Experience working in the waste industry.
