Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is seeking a dedicated Team Leader to ensure smooth operations at a major High Street venue. This full-time role (40 hours per week) offers career progression within a company that values individuality and rewards performance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly.
• Supervise a team and create a welcoming, supportive environment.
• Be a responsible key holder.
• Operate till, take orders and process payments.
• Assist with weekly bookwork and other duties as required.
• Create weekly rotas following manager's guidelines.
• Place orders to maintain stock levels.
• Delegate where needed and keep the team proactive.
• Comply with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
• Comply with Health & Safety regulations.

We're currently recruiting a dedicated Team Leader to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in a major High Street brand on a full time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week.

Your Key Responsibilities May Include

• Ensuring all deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly
• Supervising a team, creating a positive environment where the team feel welcomed and supported
• Being a responsible key holder
• Using the till, taking order and receiving payments
• Assisting with weekly bookwork and any other duties that are necessary
• Producing weekly rotas following the manager's guidelines
• Placing orders for stock to maintain the correct stock levels
• Delegating where necessary and ensuring the team are proactive at all times
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations

Our Ideal Team Leader Will

• Previous experience supervising frontline teams within a similar environment
• Good communication skills with a focus on great Customer Service
• Team player and can-do attitude
• Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a positive attitude
