Job summary

BRC are recruiting a Team Leader to join a supportive mental health service in Ceredigion. You will lead and develop a team of support workers, coordinating day-to-day service delivery and caseloads to ensure high-quality support for people with complex needs.

The role involves safeguarding, risk management and close collaboration with health, social care and partner agencies, plus induction, supervision and on-call duties. Salary £27,000–£27,500 DOE.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification or working towards Level 4/5 Leadership & Management
• Experience within mental health, health or social care
• Experience supporting or leading staff
• Good understanding of safeguarding and risk management
• Strong communication, organisation and report-writing skills
• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle
• Social Care Wales registration desirable

Responsibilities

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced support worker or senior practitioner to lead a team supporting individuals experiencing mental ill-health, homelessness and complex needs.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and supporting a team of support workers
• Coordinating day-to-day service delivery, caseloads and rotas
• Supporting staff with risk, safeguarding and complex situations
• Working closely with health, social care and other partner agencies
• Supporting staff with induction, supervision and development
