Job summary

Care Concern Group Limited is seeking a Team Leader for Rubislaw Park Care Home in Aberdeen. You will lead shifts, supervise staff and coordinate care delivery to ensure safe, high-quality, resident-centered support in line with regulatory and company standards.

You will oversee care planning, medication administration, documentation and risk management, and act as a role model for respectful, compassionate and professional teamwork, contributing to audits and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care is required.
• Medication administration training with competency is required.
• Experience leading or supporting a care team is required.
• Strong communication and leadership skills are essential.
• A caring, compassionate and professional approach is expected.

Job description

We are an award-winning care home and nursing facility, based in Aberdeen’s West End. We deliver exceptional levels of Residential, Nursing, Dementia & Respite care for up to 86-residents.

• £15.00 per hour
• Contracted to 44 hours per week
• Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As Team Leader, you will play a key role in the day to day leadership and delivery of care within the home, ensuring residents receive safe, high quality and person centred support at all times. Working alongside the nursing and management team, you will help maintain standards, support compliance and ensure best practice is consistently followed.

You will lead shifts, supervise and support care staff, and take responsibility for the coordination of care delivery. This includes overseeing care planning, medication administration, documentation and risk management, ensuring all practices align with regulatory requirements and organisational standards.

You will act as a role model within the team, promoting positive working practices, supporting staff development and ensuring a culture of respect, dignity and accountability. You will also contribute to audits, reviews and continuous improvement, helping to maintain a well run and high performing service.
