The opportunity has arisen for an experienced, self-motivated, and innovative Physiotherapist to join our Acute Neurosciences Therapy team as the lead for the team working in the Neurosciences Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The broader team is led by a Clinical Lead Therapist and provides care to both inpatients and the intensive care unit. The Team Lead Physiotherapist will lead and collaborate with the multi-professional team on the bedded NICU to deliver early high-quality assessments and rehabilitation, managing a clinical caseload of highly complex neurosurgical and neuro-medical patients.
The role also involves operational management, supervision, teaching Physiotherapists, Therapy Assistants, and students, and leading audit, quality improvement, and evidence-based projects.
