An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join the Critical Care, Cardiac and Surgery Team (CCCS) as a Band 7 on a 12 month fixed term basis. The position will start on the 1/8/25

The role is split between the Critical Care Pathway (0.6) and the Cardiology Pathway (0.4)

You will work across the Pathways to provide a six day service to our patients

We are looking for an innovative, inclusive leader who is passionate about delivering a service which is patient centred and ensures patients receive the right care at the right time in the right place

Main duties of the job

The post holder will work closely with the Cardiac pathway lead and Physiotherapy Clinical Specialist and CCCS Band 7s to provide a high quality patient centred service to patients and jointly manage a large team of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Therapy Technicians.

We are looking for an individual who has advanced skills, can treat and manage complex patients and who is confident to challenge current practice and ensure that our patients receive up-to-date evidence based treatment.

The successful candidate will contribute to the weekend and bank holiday rota
