We are recruiting a Team Lead Dietitian to succeed the current postholder. Whether you're a Band 7 looking for leadership experience or a Band 6 aiming to advance, we want to hear from you!

This role offers clinical variety and opportunities to develop expertise in neurosciences and critical care. You will lead a team of 6 dietitians with support from other team leads.

Main duties of the job

Provide a clinical dietetic service to OUH patients, including responsibility for highly specialized areas.

Deliver high-quality nutrition and dietetic services to the Neurosciences ICU and inpatient units, supported by a Band 6 dietitian.

Lead, supervise, and support dietitians across critical care and neurosciences units, addressing organizational, professional, and clinical issues.

Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team to ensure patient-centered, flexible services based on clinical needs. Act as a nutrition expertise resource locally and nationally.

Educate and train healthcare professionals, including clinicians, nurses, AHPs, dietetic colleagues, and students, especially in nutrition management for relevant patient groups.

Contribute to the development of trust-wide evidence-based nutrition guidelines and policies.

Collaborate with other dietetic leads to support the department's development and operational effectiveness.
