The Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton is part of the University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust. We provide general acute services to Brighton, Hove, Mid Sussex, and specialist services across Sussex and the south coast, including being a Major Trauma Unit.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced Critical Care and Vascular Physiotherapist to join our established service.
We require a forward-thinking clinician with substantial experience at Band 7 level, including Critical Care and Vascular.
Within the Major Trauma, Orthopaedic, and Vascular Team (MTVO), you will lead a small team providing inpatient care on the Orthopaedic and Vascular wards. Your role involves assessing and treating patients from emergency and elective admissions and participating in the Orthopaedic weekend service.
The Orthopaedic and Vascular Physiotherapy team operates within the MTVO group. The Band 7 Physiotherapy Lead is responsible for the operational management of this team, planning, delivering, and evaluating the service daily.
You will assist the Band 8a in clinical and professional leadership and provide expert advice within Vascular and Orthopaedics. You will carry out advanced assessments and treatments for complex cases, maintaining detailed records.
