Avon Search is recruiting a Team Leader for a children’s residential home in Newbury. You will line-manage a team of Autism Practitioners, drive high standards of care and ensure safeguarding and personalised support are embedded in daily practice.
You will recruit and induct new staff, supervise attendance, performance reviews and improvement plans, and develop autism-friendly strategies to promote independence, dignity and wellbeing for young people aged 5–25 on a Berkshire site.

Salary: £30,750 – £34,850 Per Annum, Dependent on Experience
Hours: 37 Hours Per Week – Early (7am-4pm) & Late Shifts (2pm-10pm)

With a wide range of bespoke facilities and personalised support, the organisation creates an environment where every young person is encouraged to develop their skills, achieve their potential and access meaningful opportunities.
As a Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day management of a residential home, ensuring the health, wellbeing and individual needs of the young people are always prioritised.
You will lead, support and develop a team of Autism Practitioners, modelling best practice and ensuring consistently high standards of personalised care and support.
