Job summary

National Energy System Operator (NESO) is seeking a Team Administrator to support the Director of Transformation and Major Projects. The role involves diary management, training coordination, data reporting and project support within a hybrid office-home setup in the UK.

You will liaise with senior leaders, manage ad-hoc tasks, and coordinate events across teams and external partners, ensuring efficient operation and timely delivery of KPIs.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in a similar environment.
• Experience liaising with senior staff both internally and externally.
• Experience in collating, analysing and reporting on data.
• Strong organisation, co-ordination and administrative skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide diary support for the Director, including meetings, travel and accommodation.
• Coordinate training and CPD across the function.
• Log queries and coordinate with teams to ensure KPIs are met.
• Coordinate and project manage events within the team and for external stakeholders.
• Build relationships across teams to enable cross-team collaboration.

About the Role

The Director of Transformation and Major Projects is looking for a Team Administrator as a permanent position.

The Team Administrator will report to the Director of Transformation and Major Projects, working closely with the senior leadership team.

The Team Administrator role will involve various coordination, administration, communication and reporting activities to enhance the effective and efficient operation of the broader function.

These roles can be based from Wokingham or Warwick we continue to offer hybrid working from office and home. We are open to full-time and part-time applicants, as well as flexible working arrangements.

Key Accountabilities

Providing support to the Director of Transformation and Major Projects and their Senior Leadership Team via a range of activities including:

• Providing diary support for the Director, including setting up meetings/travel/booking accommodation and international trips
• Co-ordinating training, including e-learning courses and Continuing Professional Development training, across the function, ensuring that all team members have completed their training on time
• Managing the logging of queries and co-ordinating with the relevant individuals/teams to ensure effective resolution and the meeting of key performance indicators
• Co-ordinating and project managing events and ad-hoc projects within the team as requested, including functional off-site events
• Building good relationships across all teams to facilitate cross-team working and collaboration
• Building good relationships with external stakeholders
• Undertaking other ad-hoc support with issues/queries/projects from within the team or from business and external stakeholders from time to time as required
