Tilney St Lawrence CP School is seeking a dedicated Teaching and Learning Assistant Level 1 to join our friendly team. The role is part-time (28 hours per week), term time plus 1 week, temporary until 31 August 2027, with start ASAP.

You will support the class teacher, work with pupils individually or in small groups, and assist with classroom organisation and duties. We value a nurturing approach and a commitment to pupil wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Has GCSE Grade C/4 or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality learning experiences.
• Work with individuals or small groups of pupils to help them access the curriculum.
• Provide additional support to pupils with specific educational needs.
• Help create a safe, stimulating and inclusive classroom environment.
• Assist with general classroom organisation and administrative tasks.
