Job summary

St Lawrence Primary School in our village is seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to provide 1-1 support for a named pupil. The post is 35.5 hours per week, 38.8 weeks per year, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break daily.

We value a hardworking, flexible, caring and creative individual with experience of working with children. Interviews are scheduled for Monday 12 October 2026 and we offer a supportive environment with safeguarding emphasis.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-1 support to a named pupil throughout the day.
• Assist with classroom tasks and learning activities.
• Run an after-school club for one hour per week (to be discussed).
• Support safeguarding and report concerns as required.
