Job summary

University of Manchester is seeking an administrative professional to manage Teaching and Learning and Student Administration for the assigned team within TLSE. You will help deliver a high-quality student experience and work closely with academic staff and central Professional Services.

The role supports flexible and hybrid working arrangements, with a focus on continuous service improvement and cross-boundary collaboration across the university.

Overall Purpose

• Take responsibility for the administration of Teaching and Learning and Student Administration activities for the assigned team.
• Support a culture of excellent service provision and continuous improvement, placing the student experience at the heart of what we do with support for a single Professional Services (PS) team working flexibly across organisational boundaries.

About the Team The School Teaching, Learning and Student Experience (TLSE) team is embedded within the relevant School and works closely with academic staff, Faculty colleagues and central Directorates to deliver consistent, high-quality teaching, learning and student experience services. The team supports all aspects of the student journey including curriculum management, assessment and progression, student support and wellbeing, quality assurance, timetabling, appeals and complaints, and access and participation. Teams operate as part of a single cross-University Professional Services structure, working flexibly across organisational boundaries.
