Job summary

Greenfields Specialist School for Communication in Northampton is recruiting a Health Aide to work across the school supporting young people with additional healthcare needs. You will assist with medical procedures, monitor medicines and help maintain pupils' wellbeing alongside teaching staff.

The role requires good English and Maths, reliability, and a calm, professional manner. Full training will be provided and you will join a supportive Health Assistant Team led by the Assistant Headteacher

Qualifications

• Good standard of English and Maths (GCSE or Level 2 equivalent or ability to work towards).
• Excellent communication and confidentiality skills.
• Ability to use ICT effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate reports to monitor and record medicine and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and resources.
• Maintain calm and professional manner at all times even when under pressure.
• Work effectively as part of a team.
• Continue to support the education and access to education for all pupils.
