Job summary

Corby Business Academy is seeking an Educational Healthcare Assistant to provide high-quality health support for students. You will work with staff to deliver first aid, emergency care and treatment, and administer prescribed medicines in line with school policies.

The role involves creating individual care plans in partnership with students, parents and staff, monitoring wellbeing, and reporting welfare concerns as required.

Qualifications

• You will provide first aid, emergency care and treatment for illness or injury following school policies.
• You will administer delegated oral, inhaled and topical medications, and maintain confidential medical records.
• You will recognise and report serious incidents and support health education and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and emergency care to students.
• Administer delegated oral, inhaled and topical medications as directed.
• Maintain accurate and confidential medical records and ensure medicines are stored safely.
• Promote health education and wellbeing and develop care plans with students and families.
