St Clare's is seeking a Teaching Assistant to join the classroom support team for pupils aged 11-16, including those with an education, health and care plan. The successful candidate will be calm, understanding and patient, helping pupils access the curriculum and build independence.

You will work under the Head of School and the Senior Leadership Team in a safe, structured environment that promotes personal development, life skills and inclusive practice.

Job description

We are seeking a Teaching Assistant to assist and complement the great team of classroom support. The ideal candidate will be calm and understanding, patient and able to work with students aged 11-16 with an education, healthcare plan.

This role will report directly to the Head of School and Senior Leadership Team.

Within a safe, structured and predictable environment, we deliver a personalised curriculum. We teach the full range of national curriculum subjects and support students to develop independence, confidence and life skills.
