Job summary

Christ the King Voluntary Academy is seeking a dedicated classroom support assistant to help pupils across all age groups achieve their full potential. You will work alongside teaching staff in 1:1 settings and small groups, supporting students with varying needs and encouraging inclusive participation.

You will contribute to lesson preparation, differentiation and intervention strategies while promoting a caring, safe learning environment.

Job description

You will be passionate about supporting young people and helping them achieve their full potential. You will work flexibly across all age groups, supporting pupils with diverse learning needs and abilities. Working alongside our teaching staff, you will provide high-quality classroom support in this varied role, including working in 1:1 situations, leading small groups and providing general classroom support. Working with children who have varying needs, from SEN to behavioural and emotional needs, you will encourage the acceptance and inclusion of all children.

There will be opportunities to develop your career within the school which allows you to make a valued contribution to our children's learning.

This is a fixed-term role up to 18 months starting from September 2026. You will be working Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week, term time only.
