Job Details

• Job Title: Teaching Assistant - Year 6 SATs support
• Location: Oldham
• Salary: £415 - £475 per week, depending on experience and qualifications
• Start/End date: April 22nd 2025 - July 23rd 2025

Role Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 6 SATs Support Teaching Assistant to join a lovely Ofsted 'good' school in Oldham. This role is crucial in supporting Year 6 pupils as they prepare for their SATs assessments. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to ensure all students receive the support they need to succeed. Key Requirements

• Prior experience as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school or relevant qualification (such as Level 2 or Level 3 TA Certificate).
• Support Year 6 students with revision for SATs, providing individual and group assistance.
• Collaborate with the class teacher to implement interventions and learning strategies.
• Assist in English and Mathematics lessons, focusing on SATs-related content.
• Experience supporting children with SEND and providing support to individual students and classes.
• High expectations for student learning and fostering confidence and independence.
