Job Introduction

• Daily Rate: £90

Elevate Supply is recruiting a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support SATs preparation in Year 6 at a primary school in Crumpsall. This long-term role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive environment at a school rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted. The successful candidate will work closely with Year 6 teachers to deliver targeted literacy and numeracy interventions ahead of the KS2 SATs.

The role involves:

• Delivering small group and 1:1 support focused on literacy and numeracy
• Supporting lesson delivery and pupil progress monitoring
• Monitoring and recording pupil development, providing feedback to staff
• Preparing resources and adapting materials for varying ability levels
• Building strong relationships with pupils to foster confidence and resilience

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience working with KS2 pupils, ideally in Year 6
• Confidence supporting English and Maths interventions
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage reluctant learners
• A calm, focused approach to behaviour and learning support
• Previous school-based experience is desirable but not essential
