Job description

Are you a friendly and dedicated Level 3 Qualified Teaching Assistant?

We are seeking experienced Teaching Assistants to work in our lovely Primary Schools within the Alfreton area. Roles available range from EYFS to Year 6, including general floating TA work and SEN support for pupils with EHCPs.

Please note: These are full-time roles, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 to 3:30.

What will my responsibilities be?
  1. Classroom Support: Assist teachers in managing classroom activities, preparing materials, and maintaining a positive learning environment to foster engaging and fun learning experiences for pupils.
  2. Student Assistance: Provide support to individual students or small groups, ensuring effective engagement with the curriculum.
  3. Behaviour Management: Monitor and support student behaviour, encouraging positive interactions and maintaining structure and routine.
  4. SEN Support: Work closely with students with special educational needs, implementing tailored strategies and supporting their IEPs to help them achieve learning goals.
