A unique opportunity has arisen to join a passionate team of staff in a growing Multi Academy Trust.
We are looking to appoint two caring, reliable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants Level 2 to join our friendly and supportive team at Kingsway Community Primary School.
Working under the direction and supervision of teaching staff, you will support teaching and learning for individuals and groups and, occasionally, the whole class. You will help pupils understand tasks, reinforce key concepts and vocabulary, use practical resources and provide appropriate challenge, while encouraging independence, resilience, confidence and positive engagement in learning.
You will contribute to pupils’ care, safety, welfare, inclusion and progress; support agreed learning, behaviour and support plans; and help maintain a safe, inclusive and purposeful learning environment. We are seeking someone with a warm, patient and professional approach, effective communication and teamwork skills, and experience of supporting children’s learning, preferably in a primary-school setting. A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification, or equivalent relevant knowledge, skills and experience, is required, together with a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
At Kingsway Community Primary School, we are proud of our warm and welcoming community, our supportive staff team and our high aspirations for every child. We are committed to creating a positive environment for both pupils and staff, and to supporting colleagues in their professional development.
Kingsway Community Primary School is at the heart of our community, serving children aged between 4 and 11 years old. Following extensive renovation, we offer a nurturing environment where all children can flourish and show their true potential. We promote high expectations with a positive ‘can do’ attitude, build strong relationships and celebrate both individual and collective achievements. Our dedicated staff make a significant impact on outcomes for all pupils.
We are proud to be part of the Community Academies Trust; a multi-academy trust committed to transforming schools into community hubs through a holistic approach to education.
