Job summary

KM Recruitment is seeking a Teaching Assistant Tutor / Trainer to deliver the Teaching Assistant qualification and other short courses to adult learners in a face-to-face group setting. This full-time permanent role is based in Lincolnshire with flexibility to travel.

The successful candidate will have recent TA/teacher experience (3–5 years), knowledge of SEND, autism and Forest Schools is desirable, and a valid driving licence.

Qualifications

• Must be an experienced Teaching Assistant or Teacher, with recent experience spanning the last 3-5 years.
• Experience / knowledge of SEND, Autism and Forest Schools is highly desirable.
• Confident to deliver group-based, face to face training.
• Full driving licence and use of own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Teaching Assistant qualifications and other relevant short-courses, to adult learners in a group-based setting.
• Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners’ skills knowledge and behaviours.
• Organise and maintain documentation on learners’ progress.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
• Work to learner review and completion timescales.
