Job summary

KM Recruitment is seeking a Teaching Assistant Tutor/Trainer to deliver TA qualifications and short courses to adult learners in a group-based, face-to-face setting. The role is full-time and permanent, based in Greater Manchester with travel required across the region.

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of relevant experience, with knowledge of SEND, Autism and Forest Schools, and is confident in delivering engaging sessions while maintaining learner progress records.

Qualifications

• Must be an experienced Teaching Assistant or Teacher, with recent experience spanning the last 3-5 years.
• Experience / knowledge of SEND, Autism and Forest Schools is highly desirable.
• Confident to deliver group-based, face to face training.
• Full driving licence and use of own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Teaching Assistant qualifications and other relevant short-courses, to adult learners in a group-based setting.
• Ensure sessions are motivating,engaging and develop learners’skills knowledge and behaviours.
• Organiseand maintain documentation on learners’ progress.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
• Work to learner review and completion timescales.
