Job summary

Chilton Trinity School in Bridgwater is seeking a compassionate Teaching Assistant & Thrive Practitioner to support students’ emotional resilience and social development through Thrive interventions. You will assist in delivering learning activities in and outside the classroom, complementing the work of the subject teacher.

The role requires Thrive Practitioner training or a willingness to undertake it, plus 5 GCSEs (English/Maths) or equivalent, and strong communication and organisational

• 5 GCSEs grade C or above in English and Maths, or equivalent qualification/experience.
• Interest in Thrive Practitioner roles and supporting social development.
• Strong communication and organisational skills to support students effectively.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Thrive interventions to support emotional resilience and social interaction.
• Complement subject teachers by overseeing agreed learning activities in or outside the classroom.
• Build positive relationships with students, parents and external agencies as needed.
