Job summary

TeachMatch is recruiting Teaching Assistants in Tewkesbury for a September temporary long-term placement starting October 2026. You will support students 1:1 or in small groups, assist the class teacher, and help create an inclusive learning environment.

The role requires experience in SEN or mainstream settings, a patient, caring approach, strong behaviour management, and an up-to-date DBS. Full-time, Monday–Friday, with ongoing consultant support and potential for long-term or permanent

Qualifications

• Experience working in an SEN or mainstream school environment.
• Patience, caring and resilient approach.
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
• A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
