Job summary

TeachMatch in Cheltenham is seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants to join a supportive school from October. This is a full-time role supporting children with additional needs and will run from October 2026 in a long-term placement.

You will work 1:1 or in small groups, assist the class teacher with daily classroom management and help create an inclusive learning environment. DBS check required or willingness to apply.

Qualifications

• Experience working in an SEN or mainstream school environment.
• A patient, caring, and resilient approach.
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
• A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).

We're currently recruiting for several dedicated Teaching Assistants to join a supportive school in Cheltenham from October

This is a full-time roles working with children who have a range of additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, and SEMH.

• Supporting students 1:1 or in small groups with additional needs
• Assisting the class teacher with daily classroom management

• Supporting student's emotional and social development
