Job summary

Vision for Education is recruiting a SEN Teaching Assistant to work full time in a primary school setting in Sutton Coldfield, starting September 2026. You will provide intervention and support to two Year 1 pupils in the mornings and assist with class activities in the afternoons.

The role requires prior experience in a primary or educational setting, and a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification. An Enhanced DBS (Update Service) and two references are expected.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience supporting pupils in a primary school or educational setting.
  • Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant.
  • A genuine interest in supporting children's learning and development.
  • Have or be able to obtain a DBS Certificate registered to the Update Service.
  • Be able to gain at least two relevant references covering the last 2 years.
  • Confidence assisting with individual and small-group learning activities.

About the role

Vision for Education is seeking a SEN Teaching Assistantto work full time within a Primary School based in Sutton Coldfield, starting September 2026. This is to work with two pupils based in Y1. Providing intervention and support in the mornings, and full class support in the afternoons.

Requirements

To apply for thisTeaching Assistant role in Sutton Coldfield , you should have:
