Job summary

Vision for Education York is supporting our client school by recruiting Teaching Assistants for a mix of full-time, long-term SEN TA positions starting September 2026. You will provide 1:1 or small group support to learners with additional needs and have access to training and career progression.

The role offers excellent PAYE daily rates, a guaranteed pay scheme (subject to availability), social events, pension contributions and CPD to develop your expertise.

Qualifications

• Experience of working within a school or care setting.
• Availability across Monday - Friday between 8:30 and 15:30.
• Enhanced DBS registered on the update service (or be happy to apply for one).
• 2 references from previous employers.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll be tasked with providing 1:1 or small group support to learners with additional needs.

Requirements

The desired SEN Teaching Assistant with have;

• Experience of working within a School or care setting
• Availability across Monday - Friday between 8.30 and 15.30
• An enhanced DBS registered on the update service (or be happy to apply for one)
• 2 references from previous employers
