Job summary

Supply Heroes are recruiting a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a lovely school in Wolverhampton. You will work alongside the class teacher to support pupils with their learning, development and wellbeing, helping them feel confident, engaged and ready to learn.

The successful candidate will be someone who can build positive relationships with pupils, provide encouragement and support, and adapt to the individual needs of children within the classroom.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Teaching Assistant preferred.
• Caring, enthusiastic and reliable approach to supporting children.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the class teacher with the delivery of engaging lessons and classroom activities.
• Working with individual pupils and small groups to support their learning and development.
• Providing additional support to pupils who may require extra help with their learning or behaviour.
• Encouraging positive learning behaviours and well-being.
