Job summary

We are partnering with a specialist college in Mottingham, South East London, seeking a confident teaching assistant to join their team immediately.

You will support post-16 learners across Entry Level Maths and English, plus hands-on vocational areas such as Floristry, Garden Design, Animal Care and Agriculture. 1:1 support for a learner with SEND is required, with outdoor learning and practical sessions in all weathers.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths & English (Grade C/4+) required.
• Strong IT skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Comfortable working outdoors in practical environments.
• Experience with SEND is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to a learner with SEND.

We are working with a specialist college in Mottingham- South East London, who are seeking a confident, proactive teaching assistant to join their team immediately.

This role involves supporting post-16 learners across Entry Level Maths & English, as well as hands-on vocational areas such as Floristry, Garden Design, Animal Care and Agriculture.

You will be providing 1:1 support to a learner with SEND needs including autism, ADHD and SEMH.

The role includes classroom support, practical sessions and outdoor learning, so candidates must be comfortable working outside in all seasons.
